Job summary

Big Night Entertainment Group in the Boston area is seeking part-time security staff to ensure the safety of guests and staff while delivering friendly, professional service. You will check IDs, enforce dress code, monitor alcohol consumption, and intervene when needed to maintain a safe, high-energy venue.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year security experience in a high-volume, upscale food & beverage environment and/or nightclub.
• Must be able to pass Big Night Entertainment Group's background check.
• TIPS or other recognized Alcohol Certification preferred and may be required.
• Present a neat, professional appearance.
• Effective communication with customers, the public and co-workers.
• Ability to work with others and demonstrate teamwork.
• Schedule flexibility includes nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Proven ability to de-escalate situations.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests and providing fast, friendly service.
• Accurately checking guest identification.
• Enforcing dress code procedures.
• Monitoring guest alcohol consumption and intervening per guidelines.
