Job summary

Big Night Entertainment Group is seeking a Security Officer to join our part-time team in Massachusetts. You will greet guests, verify IDs, and monitor alcohol service while enforcing dress code and maintaining a welcoming, safe environment.

The role requires 1+ year of security experience, a neat appearance, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 75 lbs. Valid TIPS/alcohol certification and MA Gaming Commission license readiness are required, with non-exempt status.

Qualifications

1+ year security experience in high-volume venues.
Able to pass background check.
Valid TIPS or alcohol certification.
Massachusetts Gaming Commission license readiness.
Neat and professional appearance.
Strong communication with guests and staff.
Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays.
Standing for long periods and lifting up to 75 lbs.
De-escalation skills.

Responsibilities

Greeting guests and providing fast, friendly service.
Accurately checking guest identification.
Enforcing dress code procedures.
Monitoring guest consumption of alcohol and intervening as needed per guidelines.
Promoting Big Night Entertainment Group in a positive and professional manner.
Handling situations quickly, efficiently, and safely.
Ensuring safety of guests and staff throughout the venue.
