Job summary

Big Night Entertainment Group in Boston, MA is seeking a part-time Security Officer to join our high-energy venues. You will greet guests, check IDs, enforce dress code, monitor alcohol service, and help maintain a safe environment.

The role requires at least 1 year of security experience in upscale settings, the ability to stand for long hours, and the flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. A background check is required; TIPS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year security experience in high-volume, upscale food/beverage environment.
• Able to pass background check per company requirements.
• TIPS or similar alcohol certification preferred and may be required.
• Professional appearance and strong customer service.
• Effective communication with guests and staff.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to stand long periods and lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly service.
• Check guest IDs accurately.
• Enforce dress code procedures.
• Monitor alcohol service per guidelines.
• Promote Big Night Entertainment Group positively.
• Handle situations quickly, safely and professionally.
• Ensure guest and staff safety throughout venue.
