Job summary

Cooper’s Hawk is seeking a Line Cook to support daily food preparation across pantry, fry, grill, broil and sauté stations. You will follow recipes to specifications, manage portions, and ensure presentation standards while maintaining station setup and cleanliness.

The role requires at least 6 months of line cook experience in upscale casual dining, strong teamwork, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. English proficiency and flexible shifts, including weekends, are needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months line cook experience in upscale casual dining or equivalent service environment.
• Must read, write and understand English.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Cooper’s Hawk quality standards by preparing assigned recipes to specification.
• Follow recipes, manage portion control, and adhere to presentation specifications.
• Set up station according to established specifications.
• Use the KDS system to manage cook times while multitasking several dishes.
• Restock items as needed throughout the shift.
• Assist with cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen and storage areas.
• Maintain kitchen equipment in “like new” condition.
• Communicate clearly with Managers and Team Members.
• Follow SOPs to prepare work areas for opening, mid-shift or closing.
