Job summary

The Lodge at Whitefish Lake seeks friendly Hosts to join our Food & Beverage team. You will greet guests, manage reservations, escort guests to tables, and help maintain an upscale, welcoming atmosphere at our lakefront restaurant.

This role includes working with the Boat Club staff and offering excellent guest experience. We provide perks like discounted room rates ($50) at our properties and discounts at spa, restaurant, and retail.

Qualifications

• Ability to use Open Table system.
• Ability to stand and walk for 6-to-8-hour shifts.
• Ability to work weekends, events, and holidays, as needed.
• Able to hear guest orders amid background noise.
• Maintain professional appearance and hygiene for FOH image.
• May assist service staff during peak periods.
• Able to manage unsatisfactory guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Present a positive first impression with friendly, high-standard service.
• Greet guests on arrival and departure with a smile and warm farewell.
• Manage reservations and escort guests to tables.
• Direct guests to bar for waiting guests and maintain flow.
• Maintain tidy host/hostess area and foyer, and communicate with managers.
