Job summary

The Lodge at Whitefish Lake is seeking a friendly Host to join our Food & Beverage team. You will greet guests, manage reservations, escort guests to tables, and help maintain a welcoming lakefront atmosphere.

This is a full-time role with emphasis on customer experience and professional presentation. Responsibilities include managing the seating flow, answering guest inquiries, and supporting front-of-house staff during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Ability to greet guests warmly and provide outstanding service.
• Ability to manage reservations and seating efficiently.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and demeanor.
• Strong communication and teamwork with front-of-house staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and departure with a friendly, engaging demeanor.
• Escort guests to tables and manage seating flow to optimize the dining room.
• Handle reservations calls and confirmations; maintain waitlist as needed.
• Maintain clean host/hostess area and manage side work per shifts.
• Collaborate with the FOH team and managers to ensure smooth service.
