Job summary

The Lodge at Whitefish Lake is seeking a Houseperson to join our Housekeeping Team. You will prepare and maintain common areas to a standard of upscale hospitality, and you will respond to radio calls to deliver amenities to rooms.

Hourly pay ranges from $17 to $19 depending on experience. The Lodge offers full-time year-round employment with a comprehensive benefits package including paid holidays, paid time off, insurance, 401(k) match, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Operates cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and maid carts.
• Adheres to Averill Hospitality policies and ensures staff compliance.
• Maintains positive relations with the community and area vendors.
• Works well in a team and supports team goals over individual interests.
• Meets productivity standards and completes tasks promptly.
• Responds to guests needs and takes ownership of the guest experience.
• Keeps a professional, respectful attitude under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Clean all public and back-of-house areas.
• Maintain inventory and use of houseman carts for restrooms.
• Empty trash and remove dirty linens as requested.
• Respond to radio calls to deliver amenities.
• Report maintenance issues to Front Office for work orders.
• Clean the Spa each evening after closing.
• Assist housekeeping for daily guest service as needed.
• Follow departmental policies and safety procedures.
• Assist other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
