Job summary

The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, a premier Averill Hospitality resort, is seeking Hosts to join our Food & Beverage team. Earn $20 hourly plus tips as the welcoming face of our lakefront restaurant with perks including hotel room discounts and spa benefits.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, managing reservations, escorting guests to tables, and maintaining a polished host area. A strong customer service focus and OpenTable proficiency are required; weekend/holiday shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to use OpenTable for reservations and seating management.
• Excellent guest service and professional demeanor.
• Strong communication with guests and team members.
• Maintain personal appearance and FOH image to match upscale setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and manage seating with a welcoming demeanor.
• Escort guests to tables and manage reservations with efficiency.
• Maintain clean host/hostess area and manage lobby flow.
• Handle gift card transactions and reservation callbacks.
• Provide exceptional first and last impressions of the restaurant.
