Max A Mia, part of Max Hospitality, Avon, CT, seeks a seasoned Restaurant Manager for a full-time, salaried role. The position offers a 50-hour work week across five days with open availability and opportunities to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced, upscale restaurant.

You will uphold standards, drive guest satisfaction, and contribute to ongoing growth within the Max Hospitality group. Compensation reflects a $65k–$70k salary range plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management experience in a high-volume restaurant.
• Upscale-casual or fine dining experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Toast POS and OpenTable preferred.
• Strong background in guest service and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth daily operations and uphold company standards.
• Maintain food and beverage safety protocols and quality standards.
• Interact with guests in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner.
• Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly with grace.
• Manage daily cash handling, deposits, and opening/closing procedures.
• Lead weekly manager meetings and daily pre-meal meetings.
• Oversee third-party delivery systems and ensure accurate to-go orders.
• Collaborate with the GM/Managing Partner on staffing, scheduling, and performance management.
