Job summary

Inn on Biltmore Estate seeks a part-time Security Officer to monitor entrances, patrol interiors and exteriors, and respond to safety concerns. You will assist guests, manage access to secure areas, and coordinate emergency responses with calm and professional conduct.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1+ year in safety/security, and AED/CPR/First Aid certification. Flexible schedule typically Fri–Mon, 7am–3pm, 3pm–11pm or 11pm–7am. Housing/childcare assistance available where eligible.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest services or safety/security preferred.
• Ability to conduct daily inspections and log incidents.
• Proactive, discreet, and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrances/exits and conduct daily safety inspections.
• Respond to emergencies calmly and coordinate with relevant teams.
• Escort guests and associates as needed and control access to secure areas.
• Maintain keys/audit logs and document incidents.
