Job summary

Biltmore Estate is seeking Security Officers to safeguard guests, staff, assets and property, with shifts generally 8am-6pm or 1pm-11pm and about 20 hours per week.

Starting pay is $17.09 per hour, with qualifications including HS diploma, valid driver's license, AED/CPR/First Aid, and at least one year in guest services or security.

You will support leadership, perform access control, respond to incidents, and help ensure a world-class guest experience at the estate.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proven ability to deliver world-class guest service.
• Able to write and complete reports in standard English.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to guests, employees, and vendors in a professional, courteous, and hospitable manner.
• Deliver security and emergency response services for assigned locations and events.
• Support safety and operational needs of staff, guests, and vendors across the estate.
• Maintain access control for collections, secured buildings, restricted areas, and other property and assets.
• Monitor assigned areas to identify and address potential safety or security concerns.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance.
