Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality’s Arizona Biltmore property is seeking a Cook III to maintain and prepare high-quality menu items across kitchen stations. You will set up, produce, and control the quality of meats, fish, vegetables, breads, sauces, stocks, and more, following standard recipes and safety standards.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of professional kitchen experience, preferably in luxury settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Graduate of an Apprenticeship or accredited Culinary School, preferred.
• At least 1 year of cooking experience in a professional, fast-paced kitchen.
• Prior hotel / resort experience, preferred.
• Upscale / luxury dining experience, preferred.
• Arizona Food Handler Card, required.
• ServSafe Food Handler Certification, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items according to standard recipes or supervisor guidance to ensure consistency.
• Check and control proper storage of product and maintain quality.
• Keep refrigeration, storage, and work areas clean and compliant with Health Department regulations.
• Ensure all equipment in working areas is clean and in proper condition.
• Visually inspect and select the freshest ingredients for menu items.
• Read and apply math skills for following recipes.
• Prepare requisition for supplies and food items for production.
