Job summary

Sun Hill in Los Angeles is seeking a guest-focused Server to deliver exceptional food and beverage service in our full-service hotel restaurant. You will greet guests, present menus, take orders, and ensure a seamless dining experience from arrival through departure.

We value multitasking, attentiveness, and upselling to drive sales, while upholding safety standards and brand service expectations. Availability includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training preferred.
• 2-3 years food & beverage service in a full-service environment preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tables and maintain service standards during peak periods.
• Experience in upselling and guest-focused hospitality.
• Knowledge of food safety and allergen awareness.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and warmly, establish a welcoming atmosphere, and provide attentive, professional service throughout the dining experience.
• Present menus, explain offerings, answer questions, and communicate ingredients and dietary considerations accurately.
• Take and enter orders correctly, confirm preferences, and relay requests to kitchen and bar teams.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, anticipate needs, and respond to requests promptly.
• Deliver food and beverages accurately, promptly, and per presentation standards.
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar, host, and service teams for seamless guest experience.
• Process checks and payments using the POS system and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Drive outlet revenue via upselling and suggestive selling of menu items and drinks.
