Qualifications

• Three or more years of cooking experience in upscale, high-volume settings.
• Certification as a cook from a recognized culinary school is preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and organizes work area with necessary supplies and equipment.
• Receives, inspects, and rotates all food products to ensure freshness.
• Prepares and stores raw food items properly.
• Follows standardized recipes and portion controls.
• Presents plates according to plating guidelines.
• Monitors service pace and notifies supervisor of delays.
• Maintains sanitation and safety per government standards.
• Returns utensils and keeps area clean at end of shift.
