Job summary

White Lodging operates premium hotels, rooftop bars, and restaurants across top U.S. cities and is seeking an experienced bartender to join our hotel bar team in Austin. You will craft cocktails, deliver guest experiences, and thrive in a high-energy, upscale environment.

Ideal candidates bring hospitality passion, excellent guest service, and knowledge of cocktails, with willingness to train the right candidate. This is a full-time hotel bar position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bartending experience preferred; hotel, restaurant, or rooftop bar backgrounds a plus.
• Ability to stand and move at a fast pace for extended periods.
• Willing to train the right candidate.
• Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and responsible alcohol service practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality bar service to guests — build connections through conversation and recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar station and meet health standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, ingredients, and garnishes.
• Process payments (cash, card, digital) and reconcile at end of shift.
• Promote teamwork and a safe, positive work environment.
• Card all guests and monitor responsible alcohol service to comply with liquor laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
