Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of upscale food service experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of wine and spirit service.
• Basic computer skills.
• High school graduate and ability to communicate in English.
• Must be of minimum age to serve alcohol.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to obtain relevant state and local certifications, such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training certifications.

Responsibilities

• Act as an ambassador for the hotel's values, fostering a culture of teamwork and service excellence. Train and mentor staff on various aspects, including training calendars, sequence of service, and menu descriptions.
• Ensure the highest level of guest service is consistently delivered in restaurant and bar areas. Monitor house count, arrivals/departures, VIPs, handling all guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Oversee daily operations of the Food and Beverage department, ensuring exceptional service standards are maintained.
• Maintain expert‑level knowledge of liquor brands, wines, champagnes, and food menu items.
• Ensure staff adherence to schedules and coordinate breaks
• Lead daily line‑ups, and maintain communication with the Director of Outlets.
