Job summary

Madeline Hotel and Residence, part of the Auberge Resorts Collection, is seeking a Restaurant Host in Telluride to uphold our welcoming atmosphere. You will greet guests, manage check-ins and seating, answer phones, take reservations, and coordinate with restaurant and pool staff to ensure smooth guest flow.

Maintain station readiness, monitor guest profiles, keep menus and wine lists stocked, resolve complaints, and learn hotel services to advise guests with insider local recommendations.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in customer service or hospitality, preferably in a high-end setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to speak and write in English fluently.
• Must meet minimum age to serve alcohol.
• Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to obtain state/local certifications such as food handler or alcohol training.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, provide courteous service, and manage check-ins and seating.
• Answer phones, take reservations, and log in-room dining orders in reservation systems.
• Coordinate with restaurant and pool staff to optimize guest placements and avoid overbooking.
• Assist with station charts, assign stations, and guide servers in table setup.
