Qualifications

Two years of restaurant serving experience preferred, including upscale or fine dining.
Confident food and wine knowledge with willingness to learn the full menu and service standards.
Clear communication and ability to coordinate several tables while staying calm and attentive.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests, note allergies and dietary restrictions before taking orders.
Describe dishes and wines, offering recommendations and accurate suggestions.
Enter all orders in the POS with details such as seat numbers and modifications.
Coordinate course pacing with the kitchen and servers to fit guest preferences.
Provide wine service, including opening, pouring, and decanting as needed.
Lead coordinated food delivery, check guest satisfaction, and anticipate needs.
Assist with table prep, clearing, and timely service with assistants and runners.
Process payments, splits, and thank guests at departure.
Perform opening/closing duties and participate in pre-opening trainings.
