LAMUSE d’OR at Kaiya Beach Resort in Inlet Beach, Florida, is seeking an experienced Bartender to join the opening team. You will serve guests at the bar, prepare beverages to established recipes, and uphold a wine-focused program with attentive hospitality.

The role emphasizes precise cocktails, wine service, and collaboration with the service team while maintaining bar organization and a strong guest experience. Training and pre-opening tastings are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in upscale restaurant or hotel with wine program.
• Strong wine knowledge and ability to guide guests through the wine list.
• Confident recommending wines by glass or bottle to match tastes and budgets.
• Knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, and beer; ability to follow recipes precisely.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays; willingness to complete required training.

Responsibilities

• Welcome bar guests, explain menus, and recommend cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Prepare and present drinks consistently using established recipes, pours, and garnishes.
• Manage bar guest orders and dining room beverage tickets with Servers and Assistants.
• Enter bar orders in POS; confirm allergies and modifications with the kitchen.
• Provide wine presentation, opening, pouring, and decanting for offered bottles.
• Follow responsible alcohol-service procedures and check IDs when required.
• Maintain stock, labels, sanitation, and cleaning procedures; record breakage and shortages.
• Coordinate transfer of bar charges to dinner checks and process payments.
• Support stock counts and communicate replenishment needs to Lead Bartender.
• Complete opening/closing duties and participate in pre-opening tastings and briefings.
