Job summary

The Summit Restaurant Group is seeking a friendly and attentive server to ensure exceptional dining experiences for guests in Kansas. You will help guests select foods and drinks, present menus, and coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to deliver meals smoothly.

Responsibilities include setting tables, following sanitation policies, handling payments, and addressing guest needs while maintaining a polished appearance and professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience required.
• Excellent oral communication skills required.
• Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English.
• Food Handlers Card
• Good telephone speaking and listening ability

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining rooms by setting tables, decorations, and utensils.
• Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol policies.
• Assist guests in selecting food and beverages; explain specials.
• Stay informed on menu options and kitchen status.
• Transmit orders to bar and kitchen; note dietary needs.
• Serve and deliver orders; replenish utensils and water.
• Promptly address guest requests and observe dining flow.
• Close dining by presenting charges and processing payment.
• Assist with events and maintain grooming standards.
• Provide welcoming phone greetings and take delivery estimates.
