Job summary

Shin Dig - Plainfield is seeking a Server to deliver exceptional front-of-house service in Plainfield, IN. You will greet guests, take orders, and serve food and drinks while maintaining a polished, welcoming dining area.

The role emphasizes accurate order handling, upselling, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting. The position is available as full-time or part-time Front of House, with competitive compensation that includes tips and opportunities for advancement within Cunningham Restaurant

Qualifications

• Upscale dining service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of wine and spirits is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and make them feel welcome.
• Assist guests with menu selections and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
• Input orders into the restaurant's POS system and ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff on special requests and dietary restrictions.
• Serve food and beverages promptly following presentation standards.
• Promote daily specials, desserts, or beverages to increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining area and assist with dishwashing as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers for smooth operations.
