Qualifications

• Experience in fine dining or country club dining is preferred.
• Ability to read, understand and follow recipe instructions, diet orders, resident preference cards, and work assignments.
• Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks with frequent interruptions.
• Patient and tolerant toward staff, residents, and family members.
• Ability to develop constructive working and interpersonal relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Problem solving and decision making skills.
• Service orientation and organizational skills.

• Willingness to receive Hepatitis A vaccine if working within St. Louis County.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in an upscale dining experience.
• Take and serve food/beverage orders timely and appropriately that reflect an upscale dining experience.
• Greet customers with courtesy and address dissatisfied guests when needed.
• Know menu details and describe preparation and allergen information to guests.
• Make recommendations or share additional information about the menu.
• Serve 16+ guests at a time and recall orders upon request.
• Ensure product quality and address issues that affect guest enjoyment.
• Assist with dining service setup, stocking buffets, beverage prep and catering support.
• Receive and store food, ensure proper temperatures and timely service.
• Assist with cleaning, bussing tables, stocking, and maintaining clean dining areas.
