Job summary

EverTrue is seeking a dining server for an upscale dining environment. The role involves serving food and beverages, greeting guests, and providing allergy-aware menu knowledge. You will assist with setup, sanitation, and catering events while maintaining high service standards.

The position requires 1+ year in fine dining, strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to handle multiple guests and workflows in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 1 year (preferably 2 to 3 years) of waiting in a fine dining or country club venue.
• Ability to read, understands and follows recipe instructions and diet orders.
• Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks with interruptions.
• Be patient and tolerant toward staff, residents, and family members.
• Develop constructive working and interpersonal relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Problem solving and decision making skills.
• Service orientation and excellent organizational skills.
• Active listening and effective communication competencies.
• Willing to receive a Hepatitis A vaccine if required by local health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer services that promotes satisfaction and is reflective of an upscale dining experience.
• Take and serve food/beverage orders timely and appropriately that is reflective of an upscale dining experience.
• Greet customers with courtesy and friendliness, making quick decisions to address dissatisfied customers when needed.
• Know all details of the menu including allergens, and describe how each item is prepared and cooked.
• Make recommendations or share additional information with customers regarding the menu.
• Serve 16 or more guests at a time; recall orders upon request by guest.
• Check products for quality and correct any problems that may affect guest enjoyment.
• Perform defined work routines using dining service utensils and equipment as assigned.
• Assist with dining service set-up, stocking buffets, preparing beverages, salads and desserts, and catering event support.
• Assist in receiving, storing food and supplies, ensuring correct temperatures and timely service.
• Assist with clean-up to maintain dining areas per policies and standards.
