Job summary

Biltmore in Asheville, NC is seeking a dining room attendant to support dining room staff and supervisors by delivering world-class service during breakfast shifts. You will reset tables to Biltmore standards, stock side stations, and help maintain a polished dining room environment.

This part-time role requires weekend and holiday availability, with an average of 20–29 hours per week. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and a willingness to work in a fine dining setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalency; ability to read instructions and basic counting skills for restocking.
• Ability to remain attentive to guest needs and provide fine dining level service.
• Previous experience in a similar position in a fine dining or upscale restaurant is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve water to guests immediately upon arrival; replenish throughout the meal.
• Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and maintain positive guest relations.
• Clear tables after guests depart and reset according to Inn specifications.
• Assist in delivering food to tables and reading food order tickets for correct tables.
• Ensure items are prepared to standard and coordinate with culinary staff as needed.
• Arrange plates and accompaniments for delivery to guest tables.
