Job summary

New Waterloo Cincinnati is seeking a motivated hospitality team member to join our restaurant. You will take food and beverage orders, assist with service, and ensure guest satisfaction through attentive care.

Qualifications

• State-issued food handling and beverage certifications required.
• At least 6 months of hospitality experience.
• Ability to read and understand safety rules and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Inform guests about daily specials and menu items.
• Verify legal drinking age and liquor laws.
• Explain dishes and cooking methods to guests.
• Recommend wine and beverages to guests.
• Take orders, input into POS, and relay to kitchen.
• Serve and garnish dishes as required.
• Accommodate guests' dietary restrictions.
• Set up tables and service areas.
• Assist with running food and clearing tables.
• Handle guest feedback promptly and inform supervisors.
• Manage orders and communicate delays.
• Prepare checks and collect payments.
• Clear and reset tables.
• Stock service areas.
