Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels Corporation is seeking a banquet server to assist in setting up and serving food and beverages at various functions. You will maintain mise-en-place, set up events on time, and provide warm, attentive service to guests in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma and 1–2 years in guest-facing roles, with strong English communication and teamwork. This role requires physical activity and a willingness to help across banquet operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One to two years in a public contact position, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel.
• Enter and locate work related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
• Possess a gracious, friendly, and fun demeanor.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up to date and accurate knowledge of all Food and Beverage.
• Set up stations and do side jobs to ensure adequate mise-en-place.
• Provide a genuine warm and caring service to guests.
• Set up events within the required time.
• Maintain the Room Service and Events equipment and area in an organized and clean condition at all times.
• Maintain good communication with all team members and guests.
• Perform all other duties as requested.
