Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking energetic Banquet Servers to deliver exceptional food and beverage service at weddings, conferences, and events. Join a fast-paced hospitality team and help create memorable experiences for guests.

You’ll set up and break down banquet spaces, coordinate with kitchen and service leads, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout events. Flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in banquet, restaurant, hotel, or catering settings.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments.
• Knowledge of food safety and responsible alcohol service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional service during banquets and events.
• Set up, maintain, and break down banquet spaces per event specs.
• Serve food and beverages while upholding presentation and timing.
• Assist guests with requests and questions to create a welcoming experience.
• Coordinate with Banquet Captains, Culinary teams, Bartenders, and F&B leadership.
• Maintain cleanliness across banquet spaces and service stations.
• Follow food safety procedures and hotel policies at all times.
• Assist with buffet replenishment and service transitions as needed.
• Support high-volume event operations with professionalism and efficiency.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented, guest-focused atmosphere.
