Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a Banquet Server to support the Food & Beverage team in setup and service for events. Under the guidance of the Food & Beverage Manager, you will ensure quality guest service and timely execution.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years in a public-contact role, basic POS system use, strong English communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years in a public contact position, preferably in a hospitality setting.
• Experience using computers and POS systems.
• Gracious, friendly demeanor with strong English communication.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work with others.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Food and Beverage offerings.
• Set up stations and perform side jobs to ensure mise-en-place.
• Provide warm, genuine service to guests.
• Set up events within required time frames.
• Keep room service and events area organized and clean.
• Communicate effectively with team members and guests; perform other duties as requested.
