Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a Banquet Houseperson to ensure banquet and meeting spaces are prepared, clean, and guest-ready in line with event specifications. You will collaborate with Banquet, Events, Culinary, and other hotel teams to support weddings, conferences, and special events.

The role requires physical stamina, flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and a strong focus on guest service and safety.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for maintaining guest-ready banquet spaces.
• Ability to move and set up tables, chairs, linens and equipment as per event requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set banquet and meeting rooms according to BEOs and room diagrams.
• Arrange tables, chairs, linens, staging, dance floors and other equipment as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized spaces and storage areas during events.
• Refresh rooms during events and assist with transitions and last-minute changes.
• Ensure safety, room setup accuracy, and timely completion of tasks.
