Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform scheduled and remedial service on UPS, power distribution, and battery systems (2-120KVA) for Edge market customers. You will build strong customer rapport, work under supervision or independently after training, and provide on-site and phone support to customers.

Responsibilities include on-site service, safety compliance, and timely administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• ASEET/AMEET preferred or in progress.
• High School or Vocational Diploma required.
• 2-4 years military experience in a technical field is a plus.
• 0-2 years of relevant industry experience could be acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks as assigned and per company policies.
• Render on-site and phone assistance to customers.
• Maintain accurate administrative tasks (time cards, expenses, mileage).
• Keep inventory and perform cycle counts.
