Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform scheduled and remedial service on Small to Medium UPS, Power Distribution Units and Battery systems (2-120KVA). The role emphasizes on-site customer interaction and collaboration with Technical Support to ensure first-time fixes where possible.

The ideal candidate has a practical background in electrical/electronic test equipment, strong communication and administrative skills, and is willing to travel to customer sites across our edge

Qualifications

• ASEET or AMEET, or progress towards, is preferred.
• High School or Vocational School Diploma.
• 2-4 years military experience in a related technical field.
• 0-2 years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks as assigned and as per company policies and procedures.
• Render on-site and phone assistance to customers.
• Communicate with Technical Support on issues.
• Implement Field Change Notices per guidelines.
• Keep current on Safety Bulletins and Field Change Notices.
