Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Service Technician in New York to perform scheduled and remedial service on Small to Medium UPS, PDU and battery systems (2-120KVA). You will interact with customers and internal teams, support edge-market customers, and uphold safety and quality guidelines.

Qualifications

• ASEET/AMEET preferred or in progress
• 2-4 years military experience in a related technical field is a plus
• 0-2 years of relevant industry experience acceptable with training

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks as assigned and per company policies
• Render on-site and phone assistance to customers
• Communicate with Technical Support on technical or procedural issues
• Implement Field Change Notices per guidelines
• Meet on-site response time requirements and maintain safety standards
