Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a skilled Technician to inspect and certify power electronic systems, including UPS and battery setups, ensuring compliance with standards. You will review drawings, perform troubleshooting, and provide site guidance and documentation.

The role requires reading complex schematics, strong NEC knowledge, and ability to train and lead on-site teams. On-site travel is expected with 24/7 on-call readiness.

Qualifications

• AA/BS degree in Electrical and/or Electronics from an accredited college or university, or equivalent field or military training.
• Minimum seven+ years OEM experience or eight years of progressively difficult experience in power electronic system maintenance and repair.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex technical instructions, plans, blueprints, and schematic diagrams.
• Strong working knowledge of NEC, maintenance practices, and quality control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and certify power electronic systems and their components.
• Review drawings and specifications for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide technical assistance and expertise on power electronics to owners and engineers.
• Perform inspections, maintenance, and instruction of site personnel.
