Job summary

Sure Power is seeking a Service Engineer for UPS systems to refurbish, install, test and service critical power equipment across the continental United States. The role includes on-site commissioning, emergency support and installation of 3-phase/480V systems, often requiring night and weekend shifts.

The candidate should have an associate degree in electronics or equivalent training with 2+ years in the field or 5+ years in related UPS work; valid CDL and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics or military/trade equivalent with relevant field experience.
• Experience with UPS systems, 25KVA+ preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Valid driver's license; ability to obtain DOT medical and pass drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Refurbish, install, maintain, repair and troubleshoot UPS systems and equipment.
• Provide emergency services and on-site support across the continental US.
• Build battery systems and prepare equipment for shipment to customer sites.
• Perform commissioning, testing procedures, and on-site testing coordination.
• Maintain field service reports and recommend proactive improvements.
