Job summary

Marsh Grammar School in Methuen, Massachusetts is seeking an Upper School Program Assistant Pathways Sub Separate to support students with disabilities, implement lesson plans, and assist in arrival/dismissal routines. This role requires collaborating with the Special Education Teacher and BCBA to implement behavior plans and ensure inclusive education.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma (associates degree preferred) and experience working with children.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associates degree or higher preferred.
• Experience working with children/students.
• Experience assisting in program implementation; ability to work with professional staff.
• Outstanding preparation and/or experience may be substituted for some qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Support students with disabilities in inclusive and substantially separate settings.
• Assist with behavior plan implementation.
• Provide academic support as needed.
• Support feeding and toileting needs.
• Monitor attention, work completion and social navigation.
• Perform duties as assigned by school administration.
• Other duties as assigned by the classroom teacher.
