Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support students with global developmental, cognitive delays, and physical challenges in a self-contained Lower School classroom.
• Assist with academics: implement lesson plans and programs developed by the special education teacher, manage behavior, and support social skills and inclusion.
• Assist with arrival and dismissal.
• Support inclusion of students into general education classes.
• Knowledge/training if a student uses a communication device.
• Role is physically demanding and may require lifting up to 50 lbs.
