Job summary

Ravenscroft School in Raleigh, NC seeks an Upper School LEAP Proctor for approximately 20 hours per week, August–June. This part-time, non-exempt role supports testing procedures and ensures protocol compliance for student assessments.

You will prepare testing rooms, administer tests, monitor sessions and complete post-test paperwork while collaborating with the Upper School team and demonstrating empathy, organization, and a growth mindset.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to strict guidelines.
• Ability to remain calm and focused in a dynamic environment.
• Technology skills, including effective use of the Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare testing room, arrange desks, ensure lighting and ventilation.
• Check availability of testing materials (booklets, answer sheets, pencils, timers).
• Maintain a clean, organized testing center between sessions.
• Greet students and verify IDs; monitor compliance with rules.
• Record start/end times; manage the Testing Notebook and Tracker.
• Ensure a quiet, orderly environment; store completed materials securely.
• Complete paperwork and return materials; report irregularities.
