Job summary

Scotland County Schools Early College in Laurinburg, NC is seeking a Part-Time Testing Coordinator to manage planning, security, administration, and reporting of state, federal, and local assessments at the school.

You will work with the Principal, District Test Coordinator, SIMS staff, EC/504 teams, and teachers to safeguard test security, ensure valid results, and meet NCDPI timelines while aligning with the school calendar.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• Experience with school-based testing administration or data management preferred.
• Knowledge of NCDPI testing policies and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison to District Test Coordinator and NCDPI on test administration, security and reporting.
• Develop and manage master testing calendar and daily schedules for state and local assessments.
• Order, receive, inventory, and secure test materials with proper custody.
• Coordinate training for test administrators, proctors, and monitors and ensure compliance.
• Schedule and implement testing accommodations per student plans (IEP/504/EL).
• Monitor testing rooms, address irregularities, and report incidents as required.
• Verify student enrollment and eligibility data in SIS prior to administrations.
• Manage packaging and timely return of answer documents to the district.
