Job summary

NC State University is hiring a Temporary Proctor to support exam sessions in Raleigh, NC. The role requires 20–29 hours per week with a Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–2:30 PM schedule and a Friday 8:00 AM–1:30 PM lunch break.

The position emphasizes exam integrity and high-quality customer service in a technology-enhanced environment. Experience in customer service and comfort with tablets and computers are required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Comfortable using tablets and computers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee other temporary proctors on site to ensure processes are followed.
• Ensure exams are filed correctly and rosters are up to date.
• Scan and email exams to the appropriate instructor or contact person.
• Answer questions over the phone and in person.
• Escalate queries to a full-time proctor when needed.
• Serve as intermittent replacement for a full-time proctor when necessary.
