Russell Tobin has a client seeking a UPC Analyst – Retailer Support to support Sales Operations, Category Management, Item Management, and Market Development activities. Responsibilities include maintaining UPC and product data, generating sales and category reports, analyzing trends, and coordinating promotions and store projects.

Qualifications

Schedule: Hybrid - 3 Days On-Site / 2 Days Remote

About the Role

Russell Tobin's client is seeking a UPC Analyst – Retailer Support to support Sales Operations, Category Management, Item Management, and Market Development activities.

This role focuses on product data management, sales reporting, promotions, and project coordination while working across multiple business systems and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and audit UPC and product data, including new item setup and discontinued items.
• Create and distribute sales, category, and business performance reports.
• Analyze sales and customer trends and provide business insights.
• Support Category Management teams with reporting and ad hoc analysis.
• Set up and track promotional and pricing deals.
• Coordinate store installations, remodels, and closures.
• Track project timelines, milestones, and action items.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings and provide project updates.
• Identify data issues and coordinate resolutions.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience required; Business or Analytics degree preferred.
• Ahold/ADUSA systems experience preferred.
• In lieu of Ahold experience, IDW experience is preferred.
• Experience building sales and customer trend reports.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be available to work 3 days in the Ahold office between Monday-Thursday and remotely the other 2 days.
