Rocket Lab is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner II for University Recruiting, based onsite in Long Beach, CA. This 8-month fixed-term role handles full lifecycle recruiting for critical university and intern roles, with opportunities for conversion to full-time.

Remote work is not available for this position. You will partner with hiring managers, manage sourcing, screening, interviews, and offers, and build pipelines with universities and career centers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-time university recruiting experience.
• Experience planning and supporting university and intern program events (career fairs, info sessions, conferences) and logistics.
• Agency and in-house recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting for aerospace & defense industry.
• Experience recruiting for high-volume nonexempt roles in engineering, software, and business operations.
• Strong communication skills with hiring managers, candidates, and partners.
• Experience sourcing for highly technical and niche roles.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic hiring partner to hiring managers and leaders.
• Define requirements and ideal candidate profiles with stakeholders.
• Manage full life-cycle recruiting from sourcing to offers.
• Use Greenhouse ATS to build strong candidate pipelines.
• Build relationships with universities, student groups, and career centers.
• Represent Rocket Lab at events, career fairs, and conferences.
• Coordinate and support intern programs and social events.
