Job summary

University of New Hampshire in Durham seeks a strategic Training and Development Leader to coordinate system-wide programs across UNH, PSU, KSC, and the system office. You will design and oversee training initiatives, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and regulatory compliance.

You will lead LMS optimization, KPIs, and leadership development while partnering with Recruiting to build a strong internal talent pipeline and foster an inclusive learning culture across campuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Higher Education Administration, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of five years of progressive training and development experience in higher education or similar complexity, with at least 3 years in leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive training and development strategy across UNH, PSU, KSC, and system office.
• Collaborate with HR leaders and department heads to identify development needs and align programs.
• Oversee design, delivery, and evaluation of training programs for faculty, staff, and leadership.
• Manage the LMS to deliver and track training across institutions.
• Establish KPIs and analyze data to improve training programs.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support leadership development and succession planning.
• Partner with Recruiting to build a talent pipeline and internal growth opportunities.
• Promote employee engagement and a positive inclusive work environment.
• Engage with HR teams across campuses to foster development.
