At Utah Valley University's Lehi campus, theUniversity Relations Manager plays an important role in expandingeducational opportunities for students by strengtheningpartnerships between Concurrent Enrollment and university academicdepartments. This position offers the opportunity to collaboratewith faculty, department chairs, and high school educators tosupport high-quality academic programs that help studentssuccessfully transition to higher education. Individuals in thisrole become trusted partners across educational communities,helping coordinate instructor onboarding, faculty development, andinstructional support while fostering strong, productiverelationships.
This position provides a unique blend of relationship management,program leadership, and strategic planning. The UniversityRelations Manager contributes to the continued growth and successof Concurrent Enrollment by overseeing instructional operations,supporting innovative course delivery models, monitoring programeffectiveness, and using data to inform decision-making. Summary of Responsibilities
- Communications: Develops and manages communications with UVUacademic departments, department chairs, and faculty who supportConcurrent Enrollment regarding course offerings, instructorapprovals, and program initiatives. Collaborates with theEngagement Team to create and deliver training materials andresources across print, web, and presentation platforms.Coordinates communication and support for digital education coursedelivery, ensuring effective collaboration between academicdepartments and Concurrent Enrollment partners. Serves as a primaryresource for faculty and high school stakeholders, connecting themwith the information, training, and support needed for successfulprogram implementation. When assigned, serves as the primaryliaison to the Bridge Program and World Languages Department incollaboration with the Director of Academic Success &Partnerships.
- Training & Professional Development: Develops and deliversonboarding and ongoing training for faculty liaisons and UVUDigital Education faculty; plans and executes professionaldevelopment conferences, workshops, and make-up training sessions;and collaborates with academic leadership to coordinate annualliaison and department chair training to support continuousprofessional growth.
- Analysis, Reporting & Program Administration: Maintainsfaculty liaison and department records; coordinates and tracks sitevisits, professional development participation, and liaisoncompensation; manages syllabus collection and programdocumentation; administers surveys and analyzes results to supportcontinuous improvement; implements program policies and procedures;and prepares reports and data for stakeholders.
- Relationship Management: Builds and maintains strongpartnerships with UVU department chairs, faculty, and liaisons;leads stakeholder recognition and engagement initiatives;coordinates the Digital Education program with campus partners; andcollaborates to resolve course, faculty, and student issues whileensuring effective program operations.
- Budget: Develops and manages area budgetary aspects related tohigh school relations activities, ensuring optimal allocation ofresources to support the program's initiatives effectively.Performsother job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications
Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor's degreeplus three to five years of related experience; OR an equivalentcombination of education and/or experience related to the Summaryof Duties totaling at least seven years.

Knowledge
- Knowledge of secondary and higher education curricula,instructional environments, and professional developmentpractices.
- Knowledge of concurrent enrollment program objectives,policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of data collection, reporting, recordkeeping, andperformance tracking methods.
- Knowledge of administrative and financial processes related toeducational program operations.
