Job summary

Howard University invites applications for an IT Support professional within the College of Pharmacy and Center of Excellence. Under general supervision, you will assist students, faculty, and staff with software and hardware, and help maintain servers and workstations on campus.

You will provide daily on-site technical support, install and upgrade software, train users on Echo360 and Canvas LMS, and document resolutions in the ticketing system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Two years’ experience in technical computer support and networking.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support to students, faculty, and staff for software and hardware.
• Manage College of Pharmacy servers and workstations.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and upgrade servers and peripheral devices.
• Train faculty and students on Echo360 and Canvas LMS.
• Document issues and resolutions in ticketing system.
