Job summary

First National Bank Alaska's Valdez Branch is hiring Universal Teller I/II to deliver outstanding customer service and process a variety of transactions in a fast-paced branch environment.

The role requires six months of cash handling and one year of customer service experience. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm, with growth potential from Teller I to Teller II and opportunities to advance to Personal Banker.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months Teller experience; or 1 year customer service and 6 months cash handling experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
• Proficiency with basic computer operations and 10-key calculator.

Responsibilities

• Provides consistent, exceptional service while handling customer transactions.
• Maintains and balances cash drawer and adheres to cash handling procedures.
• Identifies cross-sell opportunities and promotes bank products/services.
• Processes various financial transactions per established procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Maintains accuracy in balancing cash and coin, and supports ATM/Cash Recycler operations.
• Adheres to bank policies and completes mandatory compliance training.
