Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Familiarity with online banking, debit card processing, and basic bank product knowledge.
• Excellent customer service skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior banking or customer service experience is a plus.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operates a teller station to serve customers by accepting deposits, verifying cash and endorsements, and providing receipts.
• Processes savings deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments; issues cashier's checks, money orders, and other bank products.
• Balances cash drawer daily and follows teller over/short policy; assists in branch opening and closing procedures.
• Opens new personal and business accounts.
• Delivers a consistent customer experience and promotes bank products; refers customers to appropriate personnel.
