Job summary

BankWest - South Dakota is seeking a Universal Banker to greet customers, assess banking needs, and serve as the single point of contact for transactions in the lobby, drive-up, or by phone.

You will handle deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, new accounts, and referrals to bank, trust, brokerage, and insurance offerings with accuracy and compliance. Focus on building relationships and providing excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ABA Universal Banker Certification Program.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and determine their specific banking needs and provide a single point of contact for transactions.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashier checks, wire transfers, and ACH transactions accurately.
• Open and maintain personal and business accounts; identify additional services to offer.
• Sell and refer bank, trust, brokerage, and insurance products to customers.
• Identify prospects outside the bank to grow customer relationships.
• Resolve issues to aid in customer retention and refer to staff as needed.
