Job summary

Georgia's Own Credit Union is seeking a Universal Banker I to act as a teller and sales resource, delivering exceptional member service. You will assist with accounts, transactions, loans, and a range of services while building relationships and recommending products.

You will balance transactions, follow policies, and utilize branch technology. A strong emphasis on accuracy, compliance, and customer education will be essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in a financial branch environment or related field.
• Ability to balance transactions and maintain records.
• Familiarity with Credit Union policies, procedures and compliance.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; comfortable with branch technology.

Responsibilities

• Greet members warmly and build strong relationships.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other transactions.
• Open/close membership accounts and perform teller duties.
• Educate members on services and cross-sell suitable products.
• Ensure compliance with laws and audit standards.
