Job summary

Nicolet National Bank in Wisconsin is seeking a Universal Banker I to help drive new business and deepen relationships at your branch. You will act as a trusted frontline advisor, delivering efficient teller services and educating customers on digital tools.

You will identify financial needs, refer to Personal Bankers and lending specialists, handle deposits and account questions with accuracy, and uphold regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Prior banking or retail financial services experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to identify customer needs and confidently make referrals.
• Proficiency with banking systems, digital platforms, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide welcoming and professional service across in-person, phone, and digital channels.
• Engage customers in needs-based conversations to understand goals and offer appropriate solutions.
• Refer customers to Personal Bankers or lending specialists for new accounts, consumer loans, home equity loans/lines, and credit cards.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, cashier's checks, and other transactions with accuracy.
• Educate customers on digital tools such as mobile banking, online banking, and e-statements.
• Support achievement of branch sales and referral goals through disciplined engagement and follow-up.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and protect customer data.
• Participate in daily huddles and collaborate with team members to meet branch goals.
