Job summary

Nicolet National Bank in Wisconsin is seeking a Universal Banker I to join our frontline team. You will deliver teller services, grow relationships, and educate customers on digital tools while representing our local branches with exceptional service.

As a Universal Banker I, you will refer customers to Personal Bankers and lending specialists, participate in community engagement, and uphold strict regulatory standards to ensure compliance and accuracy in all transactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Prior banking or retail financial services experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to identify customer needs and confidently make referrals.

Responsibilities

• Provide welcoming and professional service across in-person, phone, and digital channels.
• Engage customers in needs-based conversations to understand goals and offer solutions.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, and routine teller transactions accurately.
• Refer customers to Personal Bankers or lenders for accounts and loans.
• Educate customers on mobile banking and online tools.
• Resolve routine issues and escalate complex servicing as needed.
• Maintain compliance with BSA/AML, KYC, Reg CC and data privacy.
• Collaborate with team and participate in community engagement.
• Uphold policies and ensure non-discrimination and inclusion.
